What now?

So, having successfully removed the stump, the Jameson tasted as good as ever! But the question was now: With a huge hole in our back garden, what do we do? Because the garden is on a slope, we decided that we would have sloped flower beds, and lower the level of the grass at that end, giving us a wider flat area to work with. Work started with widening and flattening the area roughly. It was decided to dig away to below the eventual level by some 20cm and purchase good quality topsoil, to maximise the grass's chances of growing. Most of the soil we removed was quite poor, and very sandy as we went down (which we did!).
