Getting to the root of the problem (part 4)

Here are the two large stones - both now disentangled from the roots. It looks much more like it might just soon move!!! (This was on the tenth of May)



The following three photos are rather shaky - as I was squatting down in the pit, and pointing the camera blind. They represent a momentous occasion in the story: I'd finally got through right under the tree!!!
