Are Idiots Born?

You may remember the Monty Python banking fiasco of a couple of months ago. Well, after all that, we got them to change our address, and tried to erase the bitter memories from our minds. It wasn't to be so, as we received a letter, redirected from our previous address in Jyväskylä, from none other than... the bank in question. It informed us that in three weeks a new debit card would be sent to that address. So I phoned up All Idiots Banking plc. and had another laughable 25 mins. (The joy of skype meaning this cost approx. 30 cents or so) while the poor call centre girl first tried to tell me that the card issuing centre had got it wrong, then tried to say that the letter (in my wife's name) referred to a different account, then blamed it on the fact that only I had internet banking, and not both of us. After consultation with the 'senior' and the card services section, she finally decided that our local branch must have supplied the wrong address to the card service sector. She assured me that the card issuing section have now definitely got our current address and the card would arrive post haste at the anointed time to the correct place of abode(or something like that). I'm not holding my breath...
